think about whether they would sleep with a friend or not - i know you guys have said that before "that a guy is thinking whether or not he would sleep with a girl friend" well now i know for sure it's true.. my mate - my buddy - the guy i hang out with admitted that he would sleep with me - i was a little stunned and taken off guard - i laughed so hard.

then he proceeded to say he thinks i have romantic feelings for him..... i mean we flirt, but on such a non serious/fun way that it means (to me at least) nothing.

he was so serious - that made me laugh even more.. anyway i had a good laugh..

I'm really surprised that you didn't know this, you sound like you just discovered something.

Men think about sex all the time, every time they see a woman they see her in a sexual way, it may be that they would like to have sex with her or that they would not like to have sex with her, and its not men’s fault and you women shouldn’t view men as ‘just interested in sex’. Firstly women are pretty a sexual way, and women dress themselves up in a sexual way, low cut dress’s, tight dress which hug the figure, painted faces and those low-rider jeans! It’s all sexual, and please don’t tell me it’s NOT because you’ll be just kidding yourselves..

Men also have lots of testosterone which give them a greater sexual drive, women have some too.

One ‘expect’ once put it nicely, "Men use love to get sex, Women use sex to get Love" think deeply about that comment, it can speak volumes, but in another sense it really makes no difference as long as they get married, its when they don’t get married, that’s when the problems start, about who is using who.

That’s my bit for today.

it depends what you call "demons", I've experienced JW's that call every strange noise a "demon", even the crackle of a dirty radio volume control knob a JW once claimed this was caused by "demons", some JW's can really be paranoid. But I've known other none JW's who may have being atheist that have seen visions, people who weren't there, but they were sure that they saw them..., but it makes no difference to them, it don't make them believe in God or the demons, they just excuse it as "a funny thing happenend to me,"

Where do you hide your apostate literature?

since some of us are still active and have to hide our so-called apostate literature, i am curious about where some of you keep it.

i have to leave it at my workplace.

i manage, however, to have one book at home.

My wife knows about the COC book, but she's not comfortable with it so I keep it in the garage in a brown box high on the shelf, I keep most other Literature in soft copy on my computer, my XP Computer is loaded with passwords, its pretty sercure.

The D.O. gave some 'good' advice regarding the internet at the Assembly

gave us some really good advice at this weeks circuit assembly, he was talking about the dangers of the internet, he gave the usual warnings about teenagers meeting strangers or apostates, and dating websites.. but this time he also told the patents in the audience that there is software available which can monitor every website that is visited and everything that is typed on the computer, i was shocked, he was advising the parents to spy on their children, i suppose it might be ok if the child is 10yo but what if he or she is late teens, and they discover that their parents have spied on them, imagine how that will spilt the family, and for what?

the cure is worst then the problem.. its simple a case of the wts being paranoid of the interent and they want no one on it..

Would You Trust A JW To Be Honest More Than The Average Person?

i know many very honest jws.

if i had someone do work for me, clean my home, etc.----i'd generally be more at ease with a faithful jw over most others.

in the matter of housekeeping, i'd think that they might be nosier but i doubt they'd outrightly steal from me.. what's your thought on this subject?.

The way I see it, real honesty depends on Fear of God, but how many have a real Fear Of God, most seem to feel comfortable knowing that being in the ‘truth’ is good enough and they are automatically Right with God.

It’s a like the Pharisees and other Jews, just thinking that your ‘Gods people’ is good enough and there comfortable with that.

As for me, I wouldn’t trust any JW tradesman because they try to get away with bad work where as if they did bad work to a non-JW they can be reported or taken to court, a JW can’t do that and the JW Tradesman seem to take advantage of that.

hello everyone...i can't find it but i thought i read last week that there was to be a big or special announcement???

what was that all about...i've got a sister calling me and i bet thats what she is going to tell me about...i like saying that i already know about whatever when she randomly calls me with "new" information.

Hello everyone, I am pretty sure it was me you are referring to, I posted a message last week saying there is a big big annoucement, but others on this board advised me it will be nothing much and they were correct, it was only a blood card night, I felt like a real dill.

The have a new card now, for us at least. As if I'll let me or anyone of my family die for their theology.

A Boy's First time

and have dinner with her parents.

Since this is such a big event,
the girl announces to her boyfriend that after dinner, she
would like to go out and make love for the first time.

The boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex before, so he
takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some condoms.

He tells the pharmacist it's his first time and the pharmacist helps
the boy for about an hour and a half.
He tells the boy everything there is to know about condoms and sex.
At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many condoms he'd
like to buy, a 3-pack, 10-pack or a family pack. The boy insists on
the family pack because he thinks he will be rather busy, what with it
being his first time and all.

That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parents house and meets
his girlfriend at the door.

"Oh, I'm so excited for you to meet my parents, come on in!" She says

The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the
girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say grace
and bows his head. A minute passes, and the boy is still deep
in prayer, with his head down. 10 minutes pass, and still no
movement from the boy.

Finally, after 20 minutes with his head still bowed down, the
girlfriend leans over and whispers to the boyfriend,

"I had no idea you were this religious."

The boy turns, and whispers back,
" I had no idea your father was a pharmacist. !!!!! "
